Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Chris Paul plans to commit to Team USA for the 2020 Summer Olympics, sources tell The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Paul, 36, had previously played with Team USA in 2008 and 2012, winning gold medals both times. He joins Khris Middleton, Kevin Durant and James Harden as recent commits.
The point guard averaged 16.4 points, 8.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds for the Suns this season. Phoenix currently leads the Los Angeles Clippers 1-0 in the Western Conference Finals.
