The cocktail ring made its debut in the twenties (think The Great Gatsby), a time when show-shopping jewelry was very much en vogue. In fact, when it came to cocktail rings, the ethos was the bigger the better as they symbolized unadulterated glamor and pure decadence. And this style and ethos has been popular ever since, seen on everyone from Elizabeth Taylor in the ‘50s through to Lady Diana in the ‘90s (and the same ring was famously worn by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex on her wedding day in 2018).
Now we’re heading into summer with outdoor soirees on the horizon, here’s the cocktail ring edit in the hues of the season: aqua, green, turquoise and blue.
