Spirit & Co. debuts condiments created with premium liquor



CHICAGO — Spirit & Co. is entering the condiment category with a flagship line of sauces made in small batches with premium liquor. The lineup includes five offerings — barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard, steak sauce and hot sauce — each made with a different specialty liquor.

The Vodka & Italian Tomato Ketchup is made with premium American vodka from select grain that is distilled four times and bottled in Kentucky.

The Bourbon & Smokey Bacon BBQ Sauce features Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey that is produced in America.

The Irish Whiskey & Honey Mustard contains barrel-aged Irish whiskey that is master distilled and blended in Ireland.

The Cabernet Sauvignon & Steak Sauce includes Cabernet Sauvignon from grapes harvested and produced in Chile.

The Tequila & Green Chile Hot Sauce is made with 100% Tequila Blanco produced and bottled in Mexico.

The shelf-stable sauces are debuting at Specialty Food Live! 2020, a virtual event held Sept. 21-24 and run by the Specialty Food Association that is designed for retailers and manufactures to meet and do business.
