KANSAS CITY — With Halloween on the horizon, restaurants and C.P.G. manufacturers alike are celebrating the holiday by serving up spooky new offerings. Some fall into the treat category — such as donuts decorated like monsters from Krispy Kreme and pumpkin pie-flavored candy corn from Ferrara Candy Co. — while others feature a tricky twist — like Skittles that taste like “rotten zombie” and a new Mtn Dew variety with a mystery “Voo Dew” flavor.
