Serena Williams urged to change Grand Slam strategy to overtake Margaret Court record

The tournament takes place from January 6 to January 12, and will serve as a warm-up for the first Grand Slam of the calendar year; the Australian Open.

Williams has never won the New Zealand-based tournament, and admitted that she’s desperate to add it to her glowing honours list.

The Australian Open is set to start on January 20, and will finish on February 2.

If Williams were to win the Grand Slam, she would draw level with Court’s record of 24 titles.
