Scarlett signs new Spurs contract until 2026

Dane Scarlett has signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur until the summer of 2026.

His previous contract ran until 2023.

Scarlett, 18, is a forward who made seven first-team appearances for the north London club over the course of this season.

The youngster has also impressed for England at age group level. He scored six goals in five appearances for England Under-19s in their qualifiers for the European Championship this summer.

Scarlett made his debut for Tottenham at the age of 16 years and 247 days, becoming the club’s youngest ever first-team player. He came on from the bench as a substitute for Lucas Moura during the Europa League game against Ludogorets on November 26, 2020.

Alfie Devine has since broken that record.

Scarlett’s first start for Tottenham came in the 1-0 Europa Conference League defeat against Pacos de Fereira in the early stages of this season.

He has made a total of two Premier League appearances.
