Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla.
The 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $2 Million Saturday at Gulfstream Park.
The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 16th consecutive racing day Friday, when multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $76,065.30.
There was one live ticket in the final leg of the Rainbow 6 sequence, but Areyoutalkingtome finished fourth.
There will also be a Super Hi 5 carryover of $4,864.41.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 5-10, including the $100,000 Soldier’s Dancer in Race 6, the $100,000 Ginger Punch in Race 8 and the $75,000 Game Face in Race 9.
Stakes veterans Galleon Mast, Kroy and Muggsamatic are set to clash in the Soldier’s Dancer, a 1 1/16-mile turf race for Florida-bred 3-year-olds and up.
Multiple graded stakes-placed Kelsey’s Cross will make her first start in an ungraded stakes of the year in the Ginger Punch, a 1 1/16-mile race for Florida-bred fillies and mares.
Boerne, who has won her last three races by a combined 15 lengths, is scheduled to make her stakes debut in the Game Face, a 6 ½-furlong sprint for 3-year-old fillies.
