Satnam Singh Bhamara Recommended for Arjuna Award

Satnam Singh Bhamara, who last month created history by becoming the first Indian basketball player to be drafted into the NBA, has been recommended for the prestigious Arjuna Award 2015 by the Basketball Federation of India (BFI).

Satnam Singh was drafted into the NBA League when Dallas Mavericks picked the Punjab hoopster to feature on their roster. He is set to become the only second basketball player of Indian-origin – after Sim Bhullar – to feature in the NBA. (Sachin, Amitabh Hail Satnam’s Historic Achievement)
