The Sacramento Kings will keep Luke Walton as head coach next season, multiple sources confirmed to The Athletic.
Walton just wrapped up his second season with the Kings, leading them to a 31-41 record for the second straight year. Sacramento missed the playoffs again, extending their postseason drought to a league-leading 15 years.
In five seasons as head coach (three with the Lakers, two with the Kings), Walton has never had a winning record.
