Roger Federer schedule: Where Swiss legend is playing the rest of 2019

It’s been a year of disappointment for Roger Federer, who has not won a Grand Slam during 2019.

It’s the first time he has gone a calendar year without winning a Major since 2016.

The only ATP 1000 Masters title the 38-year-old has picked up came in Miami back in March, while he lost the Indian Wells final earlier that month.

He did lift the Dubai Championships and Halle Open in the 500 series though lost a classic Wimbledon final to Novak Djokovic.

The 20-time Grand Slam winner will look to end his season on a high though and he is due to play the Shanghai Masters, Swiss Indoors, Paris Masters and ATP Finals as he sees out 2019.

Following his US Open defeat to Grigor Dimitrov earlier this month, Federer was asked which tournaments he will play for the rest of the year.

He responded: “Laver Cup, Shanghai, Basel, maybe Paris and London.”

Federer helped Team Europe win the Laver Cup last weekend and is now set to head to Asia.

There are a number of exhibition events the Swiss star could take part in too during the rest of 2019, including a clash with Alexander Zverev in Chile.

The pair are set to clash at the Movistar Arena on November 19 – just two days after the ATP Finals final.

The Swiss star is already down to face Juan Martin del Potro in another friendly tie in Argentina just a day later on November 20.

Federer also has an exhibition showdown against Kei Nishikori on October 14 in Tokyo and here is his expected schedule for the rest of the calendar year.
