Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have been kept apart for the ATP Cup group stages.
The inaugural ATP Cup will take place in Australia at the beginning of next year with 24 countries competing.
The 19 countries already qualified were each assigned to a group and a city with Brisbane, Perth and Sydney hosting a group.
Djokovic’s Serbia are top seeds and were placed in Group A alongside France, South Africa and one more to be decided. They will head to Brisbane.
Second seed Spain, led by Rafael Nadal, will headline Group B in Perth and come up against Japan, Georgia and one other.
Roger Federer will take his Switzerland side to Sydney to face Belgium and Great Britain with Andy Murray hopeful of playing.
A team can have up to five players with two singles matches and a doubles clash to be played.
The winner from each group will be joined by the two best second places in the quarter-finals of the tournament with the knockout stages to be held in Sydney.
