Roger Federer 'aware of what's going on' as texts about Rafael Nadal and Djokovic shared

Federer’s absence, as always, has been noticeable during this month’s competition, and that will likely continue with any other tournaments he misses and once he decides to retire once and for all.

With that day not too far away now, the new generation of tennis stars is coming to the forefront and Henman feels there is enough quality among those who are playing to still make it a spectacular show.

“It’s inevitable that any tournament that doesn’t have Roger Federer, he’s going to be missed,” he added.

“He’s always been extremely popular wherever he has played – one of the most successful male players of all time.

“Having said that, there’s always so many other great players to watch. We’d love to see Federer back on court, but there’s still a great group of male and female players out there.”
