Reds’ loss to Tigers isn’t the only sobering reality on Day 2 of the season


CINCINNATI — One moment, one day of unadulterated joy, of doing things we love, going to bed feeling fulfilled and content. One day of going to bed thinking things aren’t that bad. And for the Reds, things were quite good on Friday.

Sure, it was weird in the first game of the season, but the Reds won on Opening Day. The second day? Well, 2020 doesn’t stay undefeated for long — and neither did the Reds.
