HBO Max has dropped the official Raised by Wolves Season 2 trailer for the upcoming return of Ridley Scott’s hit sci-fi drama, starring Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, and Travis Fimmel. It is currently slated to premiere on February 3, more than a year since the first season finale had aired.
The video, which you can check out below, highlights Mother and Father’s continued struggle in protecting their children from harm as they all try to survive Kepler 22-b’s mysterious tropical zone. It also teases how Mother’s natural child and Fimmel’s Marcus will continue to become threats to their safety.
“In season two, Android partners Mother and Father, along with their brood of six human children, join a newly formed atheistic colony in Kepler 22 b’s mysterious tropical zone,” reads the synopsis. “But navigating this strange new society is only the start of their troubles as Mother’s “natural child” threatens to drive what little remains of the human race to extinction.”
Raised by Wolves centers on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences, the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.
The sci-fi drama stars Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Jordan Loughran, Matias Varela, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Aasiya Shah, Ivy Wong, and Travis Fimmel.
The series is a production by Scott Free Productions. It is written, created, and executive produced by Aaron Guzikowski. Scott, David W. Zucker (The Man in the High Castle), Jordan Sheehan (The Terror), Adam Kolbrenner (Prisoners) and Mark Huffam (The Martian) are executive producing.
The first season of Raised by Wolves is streaming now on HBO Max.
