Rafael Nadal beats Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic in 2019 earnings before ATP Finals


Rafael Nadal has earned more money than Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic this season but that all can change as the ATP Finals closes the year.

Djokovic started 2019 in fine style with victory at the Australian Open, backing up that win with glory at Wimbledon.

Nadal had a stronger backend to the season with victory at the French Open and US Open – leaving Roger Federer without a Grand Slam for the first year since 2016.

But how do Big Three compare in season earning on the ATP, the tour’s curtain-closer ending in London today.

Nadal leads the way with £9.48million in the bank from the singles’ circuit in 2019.

Closely behind is Djokovic, who has racked up £8.68m in prize money with five ATP titles – one more than Nadal – to his name.

Federer is in fact fourth on the list, also with four ATP titles, having earned £5.43m.

Djokovic had a chance to close the gap on Nadal heading into the ATP Finals, where the winner can bank a maximum of £6.2m.
