A ‘psycho seagull’ has been captured divebombing a man in a town centre.

Video shows a huge flock of seagulls circling the cameraman in Grimsby before one begins repeatedly flying towards him.

The aggressive creature soars towards the man and pulls away at the last minute three times within quick succession.

It can be heard to squawk loudly each time while spreading out its wings.

The clip has emerged after claims a huge seagull swooped down and carried away a miniature Chihuahua in Devon.

Grimsby Live reports how seagulls are regularly seen around Alexandra Docks in the town which provide a natural source of food such as mussels.

But the birds have been reportedly terrorising visitors to a fishing heritage centre by dropping their food from great heights and trying to steal food.

The man who filmed this unnerving encounter said that a ‘psycho seagull’ seagull was being ‘aggressive’ to people in the area.

He said: ‘It is like something from Hitchcock’s ‘Birds’ horror.

‘It kept circling above and then swooping right at me while screeching.’

Becca Hill, 24, of Paignton, claimed her four-year-old Chihuahua Gizmo was carried away by a huge seagull in its beak which swooped and took the pet in front of her boyfriend.

A huge search has been launched for the tiny dog but its fate remains unknown.
