PS Seasoning launches line of sauces and marinades

IRON RIDGE, WIS. – PS Seasoning has launched a new line of barbecue sauces and marinades. The line features 12 flavors that are made to complement the company’s existing product portfolio of gourmet seasoning blends and rubs.

Inspired by both American and global flavors, the 12 products include six barbecue sauces and six multi-use sauces that function as marinades, glazes and more.

“Sauces that have multiple uses are growing in popularity,” said Stephanie Neu, R&D manager at PS Seasoning. “More than ever consumers are looking for accessible ‘anytime’ sauces, so we created a line that could work just as well drizzled on meat as a salad.”

Sauce varieties include:

  • Thai Fighter Ginger Teriyaki
  • Red Rooster Sweet Chili
  • Big Kahuna Pineapple Teriyaki
  • Fresh Squeezed Citrus Pepper
  • Smokin’ Steer Hickory Peppercorn
  • Honey Dipper Honey Mustard

Barbecue continues to be a growing trend among US consumers. Retail sales of barbecue sauces in the United States are forecast to increase by $62.5 million over the next two years, according to a report by Statista.

“Barbecue is a familiar and well-loved flavor, which makes it a great way to push the boundaries and try new flavors,” Ms. Neu said. “We included our favorite regional flavors as well as global profiles that are both approachable and versatile.”

Barbecue sauce flavors include:

  • Blue Ribbon Competition Style
  • Bourbon Barrel Whiskey BBQ
  • Bee Sting Honey Chipotle
  • Sweet Tooth Blueberry Maple
  • Black Belt Korean BBQ
