I just discovered a TikTok-famous monkey named George and, y’all, I truly can’t even explain to you what he’s doing to my emotions. I asked my husband to watch some of his videos with me, and he looked at me and said, “He’s cute, but why are you crying?” Well, dear reader, I’m crying because he’s the most adorable and cheeky little thing I’ve ever seen and he makes me want to adopt a monkey or have a baby — or maybe just get a puppy. Listen, I already told you, I’m not stable right now.
*Takes deep breath, composes self*
In most of his videos, George can be seen ripping open packages from fans that often include toys and snacks. And while the little guy definitely doesn’t understand the concept of a resealable snack package (which is both frustrating to watch and so hilarious), he’s gentle and sweet when the moment calls for it. He also loves to sniff and lick things, and eats the tissue paper and gift notes that come with his bounty. He’s truly a magnificent personality — a real-life Curious George.
