Pistons too much for Bobcats 109-94


Rodney Stuckey scored 29 points and Greg Monroe added 19 points and a career-high 20 rebounds and the Detroit Pistons routed the Charlotte Bobcats 109-94 on Wednesday.

Brandon Knight scored 20 points and Tayshaun Prince added 14 points and 10 rebounds for Detroit, which bounced back from Tuesday’s 29-point home loss to Philadelphia.

Corey Maggette had 17 points for Charlotte, which has lost 19 of 20 and is 4-29 on the season.

Bismack Biyombo got off to a quick start, winning the opening tip, hitting the game’s first shot and blocking Detroit’s first attempt.

Biyombo strained his left shoulder later in the first quarter and did not return.
