U.S. Open week rarely disappoints.
It’s one of the few times a year the professionals look like the every-weekend hackers struggling to hit fairways while playing from the rough. While it’s fun to watch Dustin Johnson go 30 under to win a tournament during the PGA Tour season once in awhile, there’s something to be said about the best in the world struggling to break par.
That struggle was beautifully captured all week by multiple photographers out on the course at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York. Check out some of the best player-reaction shots from the 120th U.S. Open.
