An impressive return to the Premier League for Leeds continued on Saturday when they beat Tottenham to hit 50 points and settle into the top half of the table with three games remaining.

The decisive second goal in a 3-1 win was scored by Patrick Bamford, who raised his tally for the season to 15 as England manager Gareth Southgate watched from the stands at Elland Road.

Bamford is on course for his most productive campaign since joining from Middlesbrough and it appeared he was nearing the final 12 months of a four-year deal with no clarity about his future.
