Olivia Rodrigo gives fans free emergency contraceptive pills, condoms at St. Louis concert

Olivia Rodrigo fans got their hands on free emergency contraceptive pills and condoms at her Tuesday show in St. Louis.

The pop sensation’s team partnered with Missouri abortion advocacy groups Right By You and Missouri Abortion Fund to hand out the materials at the show. The organizations set up tables outside of the venue with information as well as the contraceptive pills and condoms. According to the groups, Ms. Rodrigo’s team didn’t direct them to hand out the pills or rubbers.

The emergency contraceptive pills, or morning-after pills, are legal in the U.S. and separate from the abortion pills at the center of a legal debate in the country.

The decision to hand out the materials at the concert is part of Ms. Rodrigo’s Fund 4 Good initiative that promotes women’s education and reproductive freedom.

As part of the initiative, a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales go to the National Network of Abortion Funds, which connects various abortion groups to help people afford the procedure.

Ms. Rodrigo has certainly never been silent in her position on abortion. In the aftermath of the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022, she dedicated a rendition of the song “F—- You” to the Supreme Court justices who said the Constitution didn’t support nationwide abortion.
