Oklahoma's Logan McAllister makes his second ace of NCAA Championship, this time in final match

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Logan McAllister has straight-up bullied the par 3s on the front nine of Grayhawk Golf Club this week.

The Oklahoma junior entered the 2021 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship with one hole-in-one under his belt. He’ll leave the Raptor course this week with three after making his second ace of the tournament during his match against Pepperdine’s Joey Vrzich.

McAllister, a native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, made a hole-in-one on the par-3 eighth hole on Wednesday afternoon, just days after acing the par-3 fifth hole in stroke play. The ace gave McAllister a 2-up lead in the tightly-contested match.

In addition to McAllister’s two, three other players made holes-in-one this week: Pepperdine’s Clay Feagler, Arkansas’ Tyson Reeder and San Francisco’s Soren Lind.
