Cinderblock is a morbidly obese cat who is in desperate need of losing some weight she wants to live for much longer.

She was taken to a vet in Bellingham, Washington state, who has a treadmill at their practice.

It was decided to put Cinderblock through her paces to get her to do a bit more walking.

But it didn’t take long for her to find a place to sit down and use just one paw on the treadmill, which is filled with water.

What resulted is a funny video of her half-arsed (at best) efforts at the gym that many of us can relate to.

The vet said: ‘I am a small animal veterinarian and a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (AVBP) in canine and feline practice.

‘This video shows a cat who was relinquished to me by her owner. Cinder, the cat, also known as Cinder-block, is a morbidly obese cat who is now on a weight reduction program, which includes an underwater treadmill.’
