Nike is known for keeping plans close to the vest and dropping surprise shoe lines from time to time.
In golf, this game plan has been used time and again, from the latest Jordan golf shoes to limited-release player exclusives and collaborations. This time, however, Nike decided to drop three new women’s golf shoes.
These shoes are a shining (literally) testament to the brand’s ability to keep things quiet and collaborate with the biggest names in fashion.
The collection features three shoes, each decked out in the signature Swarovski sparkle, including the Nike Roshe x Swarovski ($130), the Nike Air Max 1 x Swarovski ($140) and the Nike Cortez x Swarovski ($110).
Both the Air Max 1 and Cortez feature a spikeless sole, while the Roshe model offers golfers a gold-plated spiked sole, much like Rory McIlroy’s Air Zoom Victory golf shoes from the 2019 Players Championship.
Nike has worked with Swarovski before on player exclusives for the likes of Michelle Wie, but this is the first time they have released a collection like this to the masses of female golfers.
Diamonds better watch their back, because come spring, a girl’s best friend might just become her Nike x Swarovski spikes.
