Missouri quarterback Drew Lock and Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf finally heard their names called during Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

The Denver Broncos traded up to take Lock in the second round at No. 42. The Broncos traded three draft picks to the Cincinnati Bengals in order to select Lock. Metcalf, the No. 1 receiver on our Top 100 board, fell all the way to the last pick of Round 2, going No. 64 overall to the Seattle Seahawks. Eight wide receivers were taken ahead of Metcalf.

Now we move on to Day 3  in Nashville, and if you’re less familiar with some of these names, you can always keep the 2019 NFL draft guide open in a tab. For a recap of Round 1, click here.

Brugler’s analysis of every Day 2 pick is below, as well as quick reactions from each team’s beat writer.

Round 2

33. Arizona Cardinals: Byron Murphy, CB, Washington

If you’re short and slow (by NFL standards) at cornerback, you better be above…
