The next NBA season will start either on Dec. 22 or around Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 18, sources told The Athletic’s Shams Charania on Tuesday.
The National Basketball Players Association plans to vote Thursday night or Friday morning on a Dec. 22 start, sources said.
The 2019-20 NBA season wrapped up Oct. 11, when the Los Angeles Lakers clinched the title at the league’s bubble near Orlando, Fla.
