After hiring Luke Walton in April then learning weeks later of sexual assault allegations against him, the NBA and the Sacramento Kings have now closed their lengthy investigation into the allegations. According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the league and team determined there was insufficient evidence to support the allegations made against Walton. Walton was accused in April of an alleged sexual assault that occurred in 2014 when he was an assistant coach with the Golden State Warriors.
