My Why Tour, Presented by Toyota, Headed To Hartford Monday


DAY BEFORE THE GAME – Oct. 24

YOUTH CLINIC, presented by Toyota

On Sunday (Oct. 24) morning, USA Hockey will host a clinic for girls ages 9-12 at XL Center beginning at 8:45 a.m. Select members of the U.S. Women’s National Team will be participating and the clinic is sold out.

GAME DAY – Oct. 25

OLYMPIANS TO BE PART OF AAA CHALK TALK FOR FANS PRIOR TO GAME

A pre-game chalk talk, exclusively for members of AAA, will take place prior to the game at 5:30 p.m. in section 103. Olympians Courtney Kennedy and Maddie Rooney, along with Katie Million, director of women’s national team programs for USA Hockey, will answer questions from attendees. Fans should use the main entrance of the XL Center and doors open at 5:15 p.m.

NATIONAL ANTHEMS

The East Catholic High School choir from Manchester, Connecticut, will perform both the U.S. and Canadian national anthems.

BLUELINE BUDDIES

Youth players from Connecticut Northern Lights 10 Silver from Simsbury, Connecticut, and Westchester Express Girls Hockey from Brewster, New York, will join the U.S. and Canadian Women’s National Teams on the ice for the announcement of the starting lineups and singing of the national anthems.

CEREMONIAL PUCK DROP

Kacey Bellamy
, who recently retired from the U.S. Women’s National Team, will drop the ceremonial first puck prior to the game between U.S. captain Kendall Coyne Schofield and Canadian captain Marie-Philip Poulin.

YOUTH GAMES DURING INTERMISSIONS

Girls ages 6-8 from Connecticut Northern Lights Girls Hockey in Simsbury, Connecticut, will showcase their skills in the first intermission, while 12-year-old girls from 13 different towns throughout Connecticut who are part of the Shoreline Sharks Youth Hockey Association will compete in the second intermission.

TOYOTA SHOWCASING VEHICLES

Fans will have a chance to see some of the hottest vehicles in the Toyota lineup in the concourse of XL Center.

AUTOGRAPHS FOLLOWING THE GAME

Following the game, fans will have a chance to get autographs from selected members of the U.S. Women’s National Team outside section 106. Masks covering nose and mouth will be required for the autograph session.

LIVE TELEVISION

The game will be televised live in the U.S. by NHL Network with Kenzie Lalonde and Cheryl Pounder calling the action.
