Marcus Morris apologizes on Twitter for negative comments about women

Marcus Morris apologized on Twitter Wednesday night for his comments to the media criticizing Jae Crowder by comparing his opponent to a woman.

Morris and Crowder were ejected at the end of the Knicks-Grizzlies game at Madison Square Garden for their roles in a skirmish in the final minute.

After the game, Morris took a dig at Crowder, saying the Grizzlies forward had “female tendencies on the court.”

Though Morris intended to criticize Crowder, he also swept up half the population in his comparison, suggesting that females are lesser and softer. Morris apologized for the comparison and said he did not intend to disrespect them.
