Manchester United’s clash with rivals Liverpool switched to Sunday, October 20 for afternoon kick-off

  • The bitter rivals were set to face on Saturday, October 19 at Old Trafford
  • Now the fixture has been moved to the following day with a 4.30pm kick-off
  • The match will be broadcast live by Sky Sports Main Event 

Manchester United‘s clash with rivals Liverpool has been switched on the football calendar.

The two sides were originally set to meet on Saturday, October 19 for an afternoon kick-off.

After the release of recent fixtures, the match will now be pushed back a day to Sunday, with a kick-off at Old Trafford set for 4.30pm.

The pushing forward of the match means Jurgen Klopp’s side have one day fewer to prepare for their Champions League group game clash against Genk.

Liverpool travel to Belgium on Wednesday, October 23, to face the country’s reigning champions.
