Manchester United are ready to bid for John McGinn who is rated £50million by Aston Villa.

Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes is also in their sights but that is likely to depend on whether Paul Pogba leaves.

The Red Devils are also preparing a £15million bid for Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff.

United confirmed the £50m signing of Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka on Saturday.

According to the Sun, the Old Trafford club have made background checks on McGinn ahead of their first offer.

McGinn won the Players’ Player and Fans’ Player of the Season last campaign.
