LSU guard Adam Miller expected to miss season with knee injury: Source

LSU guard Adam Miller, a top-40 recruit who transferred from Illinois this offseason, is expected to miss the entire 2021-22 season because of a knee injury, a source confirmed to The Athletic on Wednesday. Miller transferred to the Tigers in May after spending one season at Illinois.

The Jordy Culotta Show first reported news of the injury. Miller started all 31 games as a freshman at Illinois, averaging 8.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game for a team that earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament before losing to Loyola Chicago in the second round. The Chicago native was the No. 33 recruit and No. 6 shooting guard in the 2020 class, per the 247Sports Composite Rating.
