Several Championship clubs are queuing up to take Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg out on loan next season, The Athletic understands. One of the interested parties is a side currently among those in contention for promotion to the Premier League.
This growing interest in Van den Berg follows a so-far successful loan spell at Championship side Preston North End. Van den Berg was part of the deal that saw central defender Ben Davies switch to Anfield on a permanent deal on the final day of the winter transfer window.
