The Los Angeles Lakers ruled out star LeBron James ahead of Tuesday’s contest against the San Antonio Spurs due to right ankle soreness. He was previously questionable to play with the injury.
James, 36, played in each of the team’s previous three games to start the new season. Thus far in his 19th season in the NBA, he is averaging 26 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game.
