Kristen Stewart Said She’s Only Made 5 “Really Good Films.” Maybe They’re All Twilight

Since she landed her first role in 1999, Kristen Stewart has gone on to make over 50 movies — but she doesn’t feel all of them are good. In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Kristen opened up about her trajectory so far and called her career “a total crapshoot.”

As noted by Just Jared Jr., Kristen told the mag that she has “probably made five really good films, out of 45 or 50 films? Ones that I go, ‘Wow, that person made a top-to-bottom beautiful piece of work!’” Of course, the oddly specific number Kristen chose has spawned memes galore.

As most KStew fans already know, the 31-year-old actor rose to fame playing Bella Swan on the Twilight saga, the film adaptations of Stephanie Meyer’s best-selling novels. And how many films did the Twilight franchise encompass? Yes, five.

Jokes aside, Kristen also opened up about how demoralizing it is to realize a project is not that good halfway through it. “The worst is when you’re in the middle of something and know that not only is it probably going to be a bad movie, but we’re all bracing until the end,” she said. However, she also confessed she’s only ever “regretted saying yes to a couple of films” — what those are we will never know.

She did, however, share that she’s especially proud of projects like Clouds of Sils Maria and Personal Shopper and, judging by its promotions, her upcoming film Spencer, in which she portrays Princess Diana, will also join the list.
