It’s unclear if Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard will be traded, but that’s not stopping oddsmakers from predicting where he’ll land next.
According to BetOnline.ag, the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers have the best odds to land Lillard if he’s traded.
Lillard has been the subject of trade rumors throughout the 2020-21 season. The Trail Blazers failed to make it past the first round of the playoffs (again), and Lillard’s loyalty to the franchise has been in question due to a lack of postseason success.
The 30-year-old also sparked trade rumors earlier this month when he posted a photo of himself to Instagram with the caption: “How long should I stay dedicated? How long til opportunity meet preparation?”
The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Jason Quick also reported several NBA teams are “intensely monitoring” Lillard’s situation in Portland to look for an opening to make trade offers.
