Jurgen Klopp has said he “couldn’t care less” about reports linking Sadio Mane with a summer move to Bayern Munich.

Mane, 30, has just one more year left to run on his Liverpool contract which has heightened speculation that he could leave this summer.

Klopp refused to be drawn on Mane’s future as his focus is on Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Speaking on Friday, Klopp said: “This is the wrong time to talk about that. Wherever Sadio will play next season he will be a big player, definitely.

“Sadio is in the shape of his life, for sure. (He is in) Brilliant shape, it is a joy to watch him.

“We ask of him a lot this season, football asks of him a lot — lot of finals. I couldn’t care less in the moment. We’re all fully focused on the game, Sadio is fully focused on the game.

“No concerns, it’s completely normal. It’s not the first time in my career that before a game rumours about Bayern Munich come up, but no problem at all.”

Mane has scored 23 goals in 50 games for Liverpool this season.

He will be hoping to add a Champions League winner’s medal to the FA Cup, League Cup and Africa Cup of Nations he has already won this season.
