Kite Hill unveils reformulated plant-based yogurt lineup

HAYWARD, CALIF. — Plant-based food maker Kite Hill is launching Kite Hill Original, a new line of almond milk yogurts.

Kite Hill Original is a reformulation of the company’s previous yogurt that is creamier and contains 25% less sugar than the previous recipe. The product was developed in response to consumer demand for plant-based yogurts that mirror “the real thing” and delivery a “true-to-dairy” experience, Kite Hill said.

The new yogurt is available in a variety of flavors, including plain unsweetened with no sugar, vanilla, blueberry, strawberry, key lime, peach and raspberry.

“At Kite Hill, we are committed to helping people feel their best, and we want our offerings to make a positive impact in the lives of our consumers,” said Shannon Toyos, chief marketing officer for Kite Hill. “We hope that this ‘New Spin on Yogurt’ initiative will remind consumers that we’re here to help them reach their 2021 wellness goals and that going dairy-free can be more obtainable — and more delicious — than they ever thought possible.”

Kite Hill Original almond milk yogurt is available in 5.3-oz cups for $1.99 and 16-oz tubs for $4.99.
