The NBA’s decision to hold the All-Star Game amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic was met with strong opposition from players around the league.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James called it a “slap in the face,” while Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard and others echoed his thoughts.

During an interview with Stadium’s Shams Charania, Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox said he’d make the trip to Atlanta if selected for the All-Star Game. However, he admitted he wouldn’t be happy about it.

“If I was named one, I’d go,” Fox said. “But that doesn’t make the concept any less appealing than it was.”
