While on Brad Stevens’s Zoom press conference Thursday afternoon, I wanted to ask about the Celtics’ fourth-quarter defense. Throughout the Eastern Conference Finals, they have not gotten enough key stops. That’s a major reason why, despite outscoring the Heat by 13 points over non-fourth-quarter minutes, the Celtics sit on the verge of postseason elimination. They have been a snack to chew on when it matters most.
My Zoom just did not cooperate. After I pressed the unmute button to ask my question, I could see that Stevens had not heard me.
