Khris Middleton’s shooting touch disappears in loss, and Bucks need it to be a short-term issue

With three Mavericks defenders and Bobby Portis around him, Thanasis Antetokounmpo somehow snagged Donte DiVincenzo’s missed 3-pointer as it caromed off the rim and toward the baseline. He jumped in the air and saved the ball to Jeff Teague before landing out of bounds. Teague drove to the middle of the floor and found Khris Middleton wide-open on the right wing. Middleton caught the pass on a hop and nailed a 3-pointer to give the Bucks a four-point lead a minute into the fourth quarter.

Middleton had made just four of his 18 shots before that 3-pointer, but that basket felt like a shot that could turn the tide for him for the night.
