Khris Middleton ‘did a little bit of everything’ to force Bucks-Nets Game 7 — Here’s what’s working for Milwaukee

The whistle blew and Nets guard James Harden immediately made his way toward official Kane Fitzgerald.

Harden pointed towards the floor with his right hand and then started gesturing to show exactly what had happened on the play. As the league’s preeminent 3-point foul-drawing practitioner, Harden could explain exactly what actually occurred on the play as opposed to what the official believed he saw go down. So, Harden started to describe it as Fitzgerald walked toward the scorer’s table to signal a foul on Joe Harris and give three free throws to Khris Middleton with 8:20 left in Thursday’s Game 6, an elimination game for the Bucks.

With the three-shot foul still being called, Harden peeled off of Fitzgerald and moved to Nets coach Steve Nash to instruct him to call a timeout and challenge the play.
