BURLINGTON, MASS. — Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. announced a series of leadership changes, including new presidents of its cold beverages and coffee businesses and broadened operating roles for several key executives.
Derek Hopkins, current chief commercial officer, was named president of cold beverages. He will assume expanded responsibility for the company’s cold beverages portfolio, including brand marketing and innovation, all elements of the company’s distribution network, customer management across Keurig Dr Pepper brands and channels and all commercial functions.
Mauricio Leyva, current president of international and business development, was promoted to president of the company’s coffee business. He will lead Keurig Dr Pepper’s coffee and appliance portfolios, including brewer design, engineering and supply chain, marketing and innovation for the Keurig brand and the company’s portfolio of owned and licensed coffee brands, its away from home business and e-commerce platform.
The restructuring also included broadened operating roles for Fernando Cortes, chief supply chain officer, who will assume leadership for beverage concentrate manufacturing operations under development in Ireland. Ozan Dokmecioglu, chief financial officer and president of international, will assume leadership for the Canadian and Mexican markets. Andrew Springate, chief marketing and concentrate officer, will assume leadership for the company’s beverage concentrate business and will report to Mr. Hopkins.

The company also announced Jim Trebilcock, chief beverage concentrate officer overseeing the company’s independent bottling network and concentrate business, will retire at the end of the year. Andrew Loucks, president of Keurig appliances, also will leave the company at year-end.
“Jim has been a key member of the legacy Dr Pepper Snapple organization and a valued member of our KDP management team,” Mr. Gamgort said. “I’d like to congratulate Jim on a remarkable 36-year career in the beverage industry, 33 of which were with KDP and predecessor companies. I’d like to thank Andrew for his contributions to our company and wish him much success in the future.”
