Kapadia’s revised NFL team-by-team predictions at the midseason point


Before the season, I went on the record with my 2019 team-by-team predictions. This was the second comment on that article:

Luckily for Alex (and the salamander), the Steelers are not going to the Super Bowl.

Now that we’re eight weeks in, it’s time to revise my predictions. A reminder that if you think I hate your team, it’s because I do.

NFC East

Cowboys (10-6) – They’re 4-3 through seven but have plenty of reasons for optimism. The Cowboys’ offense ranks first in efficiency. Dak Prescott is completing 70.6% of his passes and averaging 8.9 yards per attempt. Dallas has battled through some injuries on the offensive line but has gotten healthier, and even though the defense ranks just 19th in efficiency, the talent is there for a big improvement in the second half of the season.
