“I was like, ‘This is bomb, can I have some of this?’” Sparks said in a recent episode of Us Weekly’s Mom-Fessions series, noting in the past she ate her son’s baby food when things got hectic. “The pouches — sometimes when we would be on the run, I would remember obviously his food, but we’d forget about ourselves and he had an extra pouch and I was like, ‘Mommy’s gonna take this, thank you!’”
She added: “Some of them are really, really yummy. Once Upon a Farms … they’re delicious.”
“It was sweet. I understand it,” Sparks explained, pointing out that when she was holding her baby, she couldn’t wipe it, so she’d lick it. “If we are giving it to the baby, why can we not try it? We try everything else that the baby [eats], why wouldn’t we?”
The Arizona native also spoke about how much alcohol she’s been imbibing amid the coronavirus quarantine, revealing that wine is not her drink of choice.
“After I had DJ, I cannot sip my libations like I used to, I can’t,” the Grammy nominee said. “For me, it’s a cider. I had two yesterday and that was a lot for me. I needed it [though]. It was great.”
