How did Lingard perform for West Ham?
Lingard barely played in the first half of the season for United but was revitalised after moving to West Ham.
He hit two on his debut against Aston Villa. Lingard bagged a total of nine goals as he helped David Moyes’s side qualify for the Europa League.
When is the squad announced?
Gareth Southgate is set to reveal his final 26-man squad for the tournament on Tuesday 1 June, where seven players from his provisional selection will miss out.
Who will England face at the tournament?
England begin their tournament with a match against Croatia on Sunday, June 13.
They then face Scotland on June 18 before finishing the group stage against the Czech Republic on June 22. All three matches are at Wembley Stadium.
If Southgate’s side top Group D, they will face their second-placed team from Group F — either Portugal, Germany, France or Hungary.
Should they finish second, they will take on the second-placed team from Group E — either Spain, Sweden, Poland or Slovakia.
