Jason Spezza Announces Retirement from NHL


Jason Spezza

After a 19-year NHL career and nearly 1,250 games, Jason Spezza has announced his retirement from the NHL.

Drafted second overall in 2001 by the Ottawa Senators, Spezza was a dynamo in his early years. He made his NHL debut in 2002-03 before going full-time in 2003-04, where he had his first 50-point season.
