It was a better start in another loss but that’s not what was ‘terrible’ for the Kings

When De’Aaron Fox is in a chatty mood, he doesn’t hold back.

So here’s his assessment of referee Pat Fraher, who he tried to talk to after the Kings’ 128-112 loss at Utah on Saturday night.

“Terrible, he was terrible,” Fox said. “And when you tried to talk to him, he acted like he didn’t want to hear anything, that he was too good. But that is what it is. I’m not going to say what I would have called him right now but, like I said, I’m probably already getting fined anyways so that’s whatever.”

Fox has plenty of reasons to be frustrated. The Kings have lost six in a row and the team didn’t have enough late in the game to deal with Donovan Mitchell (42 points), Mike Conley (26 points) or Joe Ingles (20 points).
