Coming back from something horrific usually takes time. You have to come to terms with what has happened, learn from past mistakes and set yourself up to be stronger and more sound in the future.

We see that from a physical standpoint when it comes to the body coming back from injuries. Doctors, training staffs and most important the players all have to figure out where they can improve to avoid such a disaster in the future. Sometimes it works out. Sometimes the fallout is unavoidable in the future. Kevin Durant will go through that in his return from the Achilles’ tendon rupture that ended his season and likely will keep him out of the 2019-20 season.
